I'm a masturbator too. lol. I have never denied myself an orgasm as you have described. I have though had orgasm denial during play. One partner made me have to ask permission to cum and then I would have to count down from 10 and would then be able to cum on 1. This meant a great build up and a more powerful orgasm. Another dom would make me masturbate on webcam but I wasn't allowed to cum until he said. I cum very easily so it was very hard for me to hold off the orgasm even though I was ordered to keep masturbating. The final orgasm was more extreme than if I had have cum earlier in the session. I realise this is not exactly what you mean, but there was a form of denial for a greater enjoyment later.
